In Noida, Uttar Pradesh, the police have arrested three members of the gang collecting extortion money from junk. The accused used to forcibly take money from the junk traders at the rate of one rupee per kg by putting a pistol. The police have sent the arrested accused in court and sent to jail. The rest of the gang members are being searched. Police say that this gang was active around Dharmakanta. Outsiders used to come to Jamb cardamon, they used to collect extortion from them.
Kasna Kotwali police of Greater Noida have arrested Rishabh Bhati, resident of Ladpura village Kasna, Saurabh, resident of Dadupur village Dankaur and Salman resident of Bhim’s Mandia Kasna. The age of all three is from 19 to 21 years. The police have recovered two pistols, two cartridges and a bike from them. The police have arrested them from the closed Amrapali company located in Khanpur village.
Used to charge 70 thousand rupees daily
According to the police, the gang of extortion from junks used to charge 60 to 70 thousand rupees. His target used to live more than a dozen religious leaders in Kasna Kotwali area of Greater Noida. About 20 vehicles used to come here, from which the members of Girog used to collect money on the strength of the pistol for one rupee per kg. On not giving money, he was threatened with assault and death. After this, the police investigation revealed the gang collecting extortion money. The police registered a case against eight people in this case. Three members of this gang have been arrested, the remaining accused Deepak, Kapil, Prince, Sagar, Arvind and Aqib are being searched.
