Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump said the US is currently ‘working with Saudi Arabia’ as they negotiate a civil nuclear deal between the two countries.
He said, “But, we can, you know, if there’s a problem.” When asked if he had any indication that Saudi Arabia would sign the Ibrahim Accords under his terms, Trump said, “We haven’t talked about that.”
Ibrahim Agreement condition for nuclear deal
Earlier, US President Donald Trump on Friday (local time) reiterated that Saudi Arabia should join the Ibrahim Accord as a firm condition for finalizing the bilateral civil nuclear arrangement. He declared that Riyadh no longer faced the threat of an influential regional power in Iran, which was a reason for the withdrawal. The “Ibrahim Agreement” is a series of US-brokered diplomatic agreements initiated in 2020 that established formal political, economic, and security relations between Israel and several Arab countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan.

Houthis launch drone attack on Saudi oil bases
The comments come as Yemen’s Houthi rebels on Monday claimed drone attacks on Saudi Arabia’s crude oil supply and transportation infrastructure, which they described as “sensitive.” He said the operation was launched in response to “Saudi enemy drone intrusions into Yemen’s airspace.”
In a statement posted on Telegram, Houthi military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sarri said the group had targeted facilities involved in the transportation of crude oil from eastern Saudi Arabia to the Red Sea city of Yanbu. “By the grace of God, several sensitive targets and points related to the supply and transportation of crude oil from eastern Saudi Arabia to Yanbu were targeted by multiple drones in response to the Saudi enemy drone intrusion into Yemen’s airspace,” Sari said.
