Many candidates think that as soon as they download the city slip, all the work is done, but keep in mind, city slip and admit card are two different things. City slip only tells in which city your exam will be held. Complete address of the examination centre, reporting time and necessary instructions will be given in the admit card. Therefore, after the admit card is released on June 30, definitely download it.
UPTET 2026: Do not see the way to the exam center in advance
If your center is in another city, then making travel plans on the last day can be risky. Problems like traffic, bus or train delays can happen to anyone. It would be better to check the location of the center and the way to reach there before the examination.
UPTET 2026: Forgetting important documents at home
If after reaching the examination center it is found that the admit card or ID proof is left at home, then all the hard work may go in vain. Therefore, keep aside things like admit card, Aadhar card or any valid identity card, passport size photograph (if necessary), blue or black pen a night before the exam.

Many candidates think that they will reach just before the commencement of the examination. But at many centers the entry is closed before time, so keep in mind the reporting time and try to reach the center at least 30 to 45 minutes before. It is always safe to arrive a little early.

Mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices and other electronic items are not allowed inside the examination centre. Many times candidates habitually keep their mobile in their pocket and later have to face problems. Carry only necessary documents and permitted items on the day of examination.
