Tata Motors is expanding its line-up. The company will soon launch the 2026 Tiago EV facelift, the Sierra EV with 500 km range and its first flex-fuel car, the Tata Punch, in early 2027.
taTA Motors is expanding its product line-up very rapidly. The company is also betting big on green mobility like CNG models, electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell technology. Tata Tiago EV
Recently leaked pictures have revealed that the 2026 Tata Tiago EV facelift will get redesigned headlamps, updated front and rear bumpers, redesigned alloy wheels and new taillamps. A large touchscreen infotainment system is expected to be available inside the car. The company can also provide a new two-spoke steering wheel in it. No changes are expected in the mechanical parts of the vehicle. The new 2026 Tiago EV will continue to be available in 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery pack options as before. These battery packs offer a range of 250 kilometers and 315 kilometers respectively. Its long-range variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 5.7 seconds and its top speed is 120 kmph.
Tata Sierra EV
Tata Motors is preparing to launch its Sierra EV. In the market it will compete with Hyundai Creta Electric, Mahindra BE6, Maruti eVitara, MG ZS EV and the upcoming Toyota Abella. Tata Motors has confirmed that the Sierra EV will be available in both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations. According to reports, Tata Sierra EV may use the Integrated Drive Unit (IDU) of Punch EV. This setup consists of an electric motor, controller, cooling system and gearbox. It is also possible that it may be given the same powertrain options as the Tata Harrier EV. Its range can be up to 500 kilometers.
Tata Punch Flex-Fuel
Tata recently confirmed that it will launch its first flex-fuel vehicle in late 2026 or early 2027. This vehicle could be the production version of the Tata Punch flex-fuel, which was shown as a concept at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. It is expected to be powered by the same 1.2-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that comes in the standard Punch. However, major changes will be made to this engine to run on fuel with higher ethanol mix.
