Hero Xoom 125R
Hero MotoCorp’s sporty scooter offering, the Xoom 110 is likely to get a bigger and sportier sibling, called the Xoom 125R. With the Hero Maestro discontinued, the Xoom range will probably step in to fill that void. The Hero Xoom 125R was revealed at EICMA 2023 and has been The scooter will rival the TVS Ntorq 125, Suzuki Avenis, and the Aprilia SR 125.
Hero Xoom 160
Following the launch of the Xoom 125R, we expect Hero MotoCorp to introduce a bigger 160cc maxi-scooter in the Xoom range, named Hero Xoom 160 which was showcased at EICMA 2023 as well. The Xoom 160 will be the manufacturer’s biggest capacity scooter yet. It will compete against the Aprilia SXR160 and the Yamaha Aerox 155.
TVS Jupiter 125 Classic
TVS is expected to introduce the Jupiter 125 Classic with a more retro design. The scooter is likely to feature a retro-inspired paint scheme, round mirrors with a chrome finish, a fly screen, a new comfier seat with a pillion back support integrated into the grabrail, and an analogue instrument console. It will get a disc brake at the front, while rest of the mechanicals will probably remain unchanged.
The TVS Jupiter 125 Classic doesn’t have any direct rival but it could be a more affordable alternative to retro-styled scooters like the Vespas. We expect the Jupiter 125 Classic to be priced at a premium over the Jupiter 125 disc variant which costs Rs 90,655 (ex-showroom).
