October 2026 is shaping up to be a busy month for India’s automobile market, with several new cars, SUVs and motorcycles expected to arrive during the festive season. The list includes the new-generation Audi Q3, Volvo EX90 and ES90 electric vehicles, Mercedes-Maybach S-Class facelift, Honda Elevate facelift, Toyota Glanza facelift and Skoda Slavia facelift. Other upcoming models such as the Hyundai Bayon-based SUV and JSW Jetour T2 are also expected to join the market around the same period.

The October launch calendar covers multiple segments, ranging from mass-market SUVs and premium hatchbacks to luxury sedans, electric vehicles and performance motorcycles. While some manufacturers have confirmed specific launch dates, several other models currently have only expected or tentative timelines.

Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Facelift

Launch: October 5, 2026

Mercedes-Benz is scheduled to introduce the facelifted Maybach S-Class in India on October 5, 2026. The updated luxury sedan is expected to receive exterior styling revisions, new cabin technology and additional personalisation options.

The refreshed model gets changes to its grille, lighting elements, bumpers and wheel designs, while the cabin features Mercedes-Benz’s latest technology. The rear passenger compartment continues to focus on luxury and comfort with reclining seats, ventilation and massage functions.

Honda Elevate Facelift

Launch: October 2026, expected

Honda is preparing the first major facelift for the Elevate since its India introduction in 2023. The updated SUV is expected to arrive in early October, with some reports suggesting October 6 as the likely launch date. However, Honda has not officially confirmed the exact date.

The facelift is expected to bring revised exterior styling, including changes to the grille, bumpers, lighting elements and alloy wheels. The cabin could also receive new features such as ventilated front seats, a larger infotainment display and additional driver-assistance technology.

The existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine is expected to continue, paired with manual and CVT transmission options.

Skoda Slavia Facelift

Launch: October 2026, expected

The updated Skoda Slavia is expected to arrive in India during October. The refreshed sedan has already been revealed and is expected to receive styling and equipment upgrades.

Reported additions include a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, updated infotainment system and rear-seat comfort features. The 1.0-litre TSI version is also expected to receive an eight-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox, while the 1.5-litre TSI is expected to continue with a seven-speed DSG.

Skoda has opened pre-bookings, but an exact October launch date has not been firmly confirmed.

Volvo EX90 and ES90

Launch: October 12, 2026

Volvo will introduce two flagship electric models in India on October 12, 2026. The lineup will include the EX90 electric SUV and ES90 electric sedan. The launch date has been confirmed for the Indian market.

The EX90 will become Volvo’s flagship electric SUV in India, while the ES90 will mark the brand’s return to the premium electric sedan segment following the S90. Both models are based on Volvo’s SPA2 architecture and offer advanced safety, connectivity and driver-assistance technologies.

Toyota Glanza Facelift

Launch: October 14, 2026, expected

Toyota’s premium hatchback is expected to receive a facelift in October. Current industry listings place the updated Glanza’s launch around October 14.

The refreshed model is expected to receive exterior and interior changes along with additional features. As the Glanza shares its underpinnings with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, several updates are expected to be carried over from its sibling model.

Audi Q3

Launch: October 16, 2026

Audi is scheduled to launch the third-generation Q3 in India on October 16, 2026. The new Q3 will be locally assembled in India, with bookings already open.

The India-spec SUV is expected to use a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive. The new generation brings a redesigned exterior and a significantly updated cabin with new digital technology.

Hyundai Bayon-Based SUV

Launch: October 2026, expected

Hyundai’s Bayon-based compact SUV is also expected to arrive in India around the festive season. The India-specific model, internally referred to as Bc4i, is expected to slot into Hyundai’s SUV range between the Venue and Creta. LatestLY previously reported an October 2026 launch as one of the expected timelines.

The upcoming SUV is expected to feature a modern cabin with digital displays, connected technology and advanced safety features. Hyundai has yet to announce the final India-specification and exact launch date.

JSW Jetour T2

Launch: October 2026, expected

JSW Motor India is preparing to introduce the Jetour T2 SUV in India through its partnership with Chery. The model is expected to arrive around the festive season, with current automotive listings placing its launch in October. CarWale currently lists October 28 as an expected date, although this remains tentative.

LatestLY previously reported that the Indian-spec Jetour T2 is expected to feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain and be locally assembled by JSW MG Motor India.

The T2 is a rugged-looking SUV positioned in the lifestyle and premium SUV space. Final India-specific specifications, pricing and the confirmed launch date are yet to be announced.

BMW F 450 R

Launch: October 1, 2026

BMW Motorrad is preparing a new 450cc roadster for the Indian market. The motorcycle is expected to be based on the same platform as the BMW F 450 GS and will bring a road-focused setup to the brand’s 450cc range.

The motorcycle is expected to use BMW’s 420cc parallel-twin engine and feature modern electronics and premium equipment.

Triumph Bonneville 350

Launch: October 2026, expected

The Triumph Bonneville 350 is expected to arrive in India during October. The motorcycle is likely to sit in Triumph’s lower-capacity modern-classic range and is expected to share its platform with models developed through the company’s partnership with Bajaj Auto.

An exact launch date has not been confirmed.

Ducati Hypermotard V2

Launch: October 2026, expected

Ducati is expected to introduce the Hypermotard V2 in India during October. The motorcycle is positioned as a performance-focused model and uses an 890cc engine internationally.  

The exact India launch date remains unconfirmed.

Norton Manx and Norton Atlas

Launch: October 2026, expected

Norton is also expected to expand its Indian portfolio with the Manx and Atlas motorcycles. The Manx is positioned as a performance-focused motorcycle, while the Atlas is aimed at the adventure segment.
