The UP government has implemented the Sugarcane Survey Policy 2026. GPS survey will be conducted from May 1 to June 30. Farmers will get information through SMS and registration of new farmers will also be done. This will improve transparency and production.

Lucknow. Sugarcane survey policy has been implemented on the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Under this, the Sugarcane Development and Sugar Industry Department will conduct a GPS based survey of the sugarcane crop. This survey will start from May 1 and continue till June 30, 2026.

Sugarcane GPS Survey: Farmers will first get information through SMS

Information about this survey will be given to all the registered sugarcane farmers through mobile SMS at least 3 days in advance, so that the farmers can be present in their fields at the time of the survey.

Survey Team Process: The team will go to the fields and collect data

The survey team will include a government cane supervisor and a sugar mill employee. Both of them will be given special training before the survey. The presence of the farmer will be mandatory during the survey. The team will go to the fields and upload the data related to sugarcane production directly on the department’s server through GPS.

Sugarcane Data Update: After the survey, farmers will get complete information in SMS

After completion of the survey, area of ​​the field, variety of sugarcane and other important information will be sent to the farmers through SMS. This will maintain transparency and farmers will get correct information on time.

Sugarcane Survey 2026-27: Commissioner gave important information

Sugarcane Development and Sugar Industry Commissioner Veena Kumari Meena said that this survey policy has been implemented for the crushing season 2026-27. The survey work will start from May 1 and will be completed by June 30. He also told that farmers can verify their surveyed land by visiting UP Bhulekh Portal (www.upbhulekh.gov.in).

Online Data Upload: Complete survey data will be uploaded on Meet website.

Sugar mills will upload the final data of the survey online on the departmental website. Along with this, this information will also be displayed on their respective websites, so that farmers can easily get the data.

New Farmer Registration: Registration of new farmers will also be done during the survey.

The department said that registration of new sugarcane farmers will also be done during the survey. Only those farmers who register by 30 September 2026 will get the benefit of sugarcane supply.

Application Process & Fees: Fees fixed for different categories of farmers

To increase the yield, applications will be accepted from sugarcane survey till 30 September 2026. The fee is determined as follows:

  • Scheduled Caste/Tribe Farmer: ₹10
  • Small farmer: ₹100
  • Other farmers: ₹200
