The argument escalated so much that the youth started beating. The goons of one side fiercely beat the woman Rani Devi with sticks. After the video went viral on social media, the police took cognizance of the entire matter. The victim woman Rani Devi has filed a case against three people in Erwakatra police station. The woman Rani Devi is undergoing treatment at CHC Erwakatra.

Police registered a case

Giving information about the viral video, Bidhuna Area Magistrate Ashok Kumar said that this case came to light on 28 June 2024 where a woman is seen being beaten by a bully in the video. The case is of village Nagla Pahadi of Erwakatra police station area. After a dispute between the two parties, there was an incident of assault, in which Rani Devi got injured. The woman is undergoing treatment at CHC Erwakatra. On the basis of the complaint of the victim, a case has been registered against Shivam Thakur, Rishi Chauhan, Shishupal under several sections. At present the investigation is going on.
