The biggest example of this is the record number of devotees gathered at Kashi Vishwanath Temple. In the month of March, about 65 lakh devotees created a new record by having darshan of Baba Vishwanath. This is proof of increasing faith as well as better systems.

Uttar Pradesh Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said that Kashi has undergone a major transformation under the vision of Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He said that with the expansion of the corridor, the temple area has become more spacious and the devotees are getting a divine and easy darshan experience.
He also said that Kashi has now become an excellent confluence of faith, spirituality and modern tourism. Development of Ganga ghats, modern lighting, cleanliness, better connectivity, ropeway project, multilevel parking and smart city project have given Kashi recognition at the global level.
