Payment Pura and work incomplete, yes, something is about the new Navele Tehsil building being built in Ghazipur. Which is being constructed on behalf of Uttar Pradesh Government Construction Corporation Bhadohi. The government has paid the cost of its construction. Despite this, till date the tehsil building work is half incomplete. On which, on the instructions of DM in the city Kotwali, a case has been filed against 6 officers of the Government Construction Corporation for misuse of government money.
The new building of Sadar tehsil in Ghazipur is being constructed by the Bhadohi unit of the Government Construction Corporation. 6 crore 4 lakh 49 thousand rupees were sanctioned on 31 December 2016 for the construction of this building. Out of which 3 crore 40 lakh was for non -resident and two crore 64 lakh rupees for resident building. The first installment for the construction of non -resident buildings was 1.70 crore and 1.32 crore for resident buildings.
Construction started in 2018
Construction work was given to the institution Uttar Pradesh Government Construction Corporation. For which the said institution also started work in January 2018. For which the remaining second installment was also released on 16 December 2019. This institution is alleged to have not completed the work even after the complete payment is made. For which many times clarification and utility certificate were also sought, but the said institution did not respond.
The shocking shock in the investigation report
Then the order of investigating this case was given by the then District Magistrate in the year 2022. Its investigation was handed over the team of Public Works Department Ghazipur’s then Engineer SP Buddhist, Assistant Engineer Khurshid Ahmed and Under Engineer Aftab Ahmed. In this, he gave his report on 7 July 2022. The investigation report submitted in this regard was found guilty of financial irregularities.
FIR registered on 6 officers
Correspondence was also done several times for investigation by the district level inquiry committee, but the department officials did not submit the documents. It is alleged that there was no cooperation in the investigation. It is clear that the working organization has done physical work with financial irregularities.
