In this sequence, now a grand Ganga Aarti has been organized every day on the floating jetty in the holy Sangam area of Prayagraj. On the auspicious occasion of Ganga Dussehra, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated this new arrangement by performing Ganga puja and aarti on the floating jetty located on the Sangam bank. This event created special enthusiasm among the devotees.
Devotees will get a divine and memorable experience every evening at Prayagraj Sangam.
Mela Adhikari and Vice Chairman of Prayagraj Development Authority Rishiraj said that for the first time regular Ganga Aarti has been started on the floating jetty. This will provide a wonderful spiritual experience to the devotees and tourists visiting the Sangam every evening. He said that along with giving a new direction to religious tourism, this initiative will also strengthen the cultural identity of Prayagraj.
Prayagraj Fair Authority website also launched
Along with the inauguration of the newly constructed building of the Municipal Corporation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also inaugurated the official website of Prayagraj Fair Authority. Fair Officer Rishiraj said that on the website, information about all the religious events taking place in the Sangam area, bathing festivals, available facilities and contact numbers of the concerned departments will be available on a single platform.
Apart from this, information related to annual religious calendar, connectivity with other major pilgrimage sites and future plans is also made available in the website. This digital platform will help in making the journey of devotees and tourists more simple and convenient.
