The weather in the capital Lucknow today will be mainly clear and the temperature has been recorded around 40°C, which may increase to 43°C in the coming days. The sky is clear in Kanpur also and the maximum temperature is expected to be 39°C to 43°C. There may be light clouds in Agra and Meerut today. The temperature is near 34°C in Agra and 36°C in Meerut, but in the next few days it may reach 41-43°C, which will increase the heat further.
Chances of rain in Aligarh and Ayodhya
There is a possibility of partly cloudy sky and isolated light rain or thundershowers in Aligarh and Ayodhya today. There is also an alert of stormy rain with strong winds (40-50 km/hr) in Ayodhya. However, after this the temperature will increase rapidly to 41-42°C.
Extreme heat in Varanasi and Gonda
Talking about Eastern UP, the heat is more intense in Varanasi (Banaras) and Gonda. There are chances of light clouds and rain in Varanasi today, but around June 10, heatwave conditions may occur and the temperature may reach 45°C. In Gonda too, the temperature is expected to start from 41°C and go up to 45°C.
