Today’s weather in UP: According to the latest forecast of the Meteorological Department, on June 11, 2026, the weather pattern will be seen changed in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of rain with thunder, strong winds and hailstorm at some places in many areas from Western UP to Purvanchal. There are chances of getting relief from the scorching heat in some districts. The weather may remain active for the next 2 to 4 days. Danger of hailstorm in Agra and Aligarh in Western UP
The maximum temperature in Agra and Aligarh today is expected to be around 41 degrees Celsius. A warning of rain and hailstorm with thunder and lightning has been issued in these districts. Strong winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km per hour. Similar weather is likely to continue till June 12, while the weather may clear up to some extent from June 13.
Relief, rain and dusty storm expected in Lucknow
Today, the maximum temperature in the capital Lucknow is expected to be 38 degrees and the minimum will be 26 degrees Celsius. It will be partly cloudy here and there is a possibility of rain, thunder or dust storm. Similar weather may continue till June 14, which will give people some respite from the heat.
Rain with thunder and lightning in Kanpur, Prayagraj and Banaras
Today the Meteorological Department has issued a forecast of rain with thunder in Kanpur, Prayagraj and Varanasi (Banaras). The temperature in Kanpur can reach 44 degrees, while it is likely to be 43 degrees in Prayagraj and 42 degrees in Banaras. Although humidity may increase due to strong winds and clouds, there are signs of relief in the evening.
Rainy season will be active in Banda and Ballia also
There is a possibility of thunderstorm and rain in Banda today with a temperature of 43 degrees. Ballia will also remain cloudy and there may be strong winds along with rain. The weather will remain active in these districts till June 12, after which the sky will start clearing.
Encampment of clouds in Ayodhya, Gonda and Basti divisions
Cloud movement will continue in Ayodhya, Gonda and surrounding Basti Mandal districts today. There are chances of light rain and thundershowers in Ayodhya while in Gonda the weather may remain pleasant with light rain. Similar conditions are likely to persist for the next two days.
Light rain expected in Meerut, Hapur and surrounding areas
It will be partly cloudy in Hapur and Meerut region today. Light rain and thunder may be seen in some areas. The temperature will remain between 40 to 42 degrees Celsius but due to increase in humidity in the weather, you may feel humid.
How will the weather be in UP for the next 5 days?
According to the Meteorological Department, between June 12 and 14, activities of thunderstorms, rain and strong winds will continue in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. Hail may also occur at isolated places in western and central UP. The weather will start clearing in most of the districts from June 15 and 16, although cloud movement may persist in some areas.
