A surprising case from Uttar Pradesh is going viral. Here a person was not only sent a huge electricity bill, but when he went to the electricity department for help, he was also beaten up. According to viral posts on social media, the victim says he lives in a ‘normal house’, yet he was getting an electricity bill of around Rs 30,000 every month. It is being told that from 2024 till now this amount has increased to around Rs 3.30 lakh, due to which he is financially troubled and wanted clarification.

To resolve the matter, the man went to the local DISCOM office (electricity office) to inquire about these unusual bills. But he claims that instead of finding any solution there, the office environment immediately deteriorated.
According to allegations going viral online, when he tried to record the conversation, the officers allegedly snatched his mobile phone. The man also claimed that he was harassed and assaulted during the scuffle. Videos related to this incident are now circulating on X, Instagram and local news sites, making this matter completely viral.
