UP: Daughter of former IAS officer commits suicide in Noida society, jumps from 29th floor

A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Here in Jaypee Wish Town Imperial Court Society, Sector 128, the daughter of a former IAS officer committed suicide by jumping from the 29th floor of the building. The name of the girl is Ridha Mustafa, whose age is said to be 24 years.

According to the police, Ridha was under mental stress for some time. On Sunday, he committed suicide by jumping from the 29th floor of his society flat. On receiving information about the incident, the police immediately reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The incident is of Sunday.

The girl’s father is a 1995 batch IAS officer.

Ridha’s father is an IAS officer of 1995 batch. He had taken voluntary retirement (VRS) in June this year. During his career, he was among the most famous IAS officers of Uttar Pradesh. He came into limelight due to the action taken against Raja Bhaiya during the Mayawati government.

Police engaged in investigation

After this incident, the police has started investigating the matter. In the initial investigation, mental stress is being considered as the reason for suicide. However, it is not known what Ridha was stressed about. After talking to Ridha’s family and her close ones, the police is also investigating other aspects of the case.

Police reached the information and said that they have also talked to the people of the society regarding the incident. After post-mortem, the girl’s body will be handed over to the family. The family has been talked to regarding the incident.
