Lucknow/Prayagraj. The heartbeats of lakhs of families of Uttar Pradesh are now waiting for the moment when the results of the entire year’s hard work will be revealed. Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has announced to release the result of High School and Intermediate examination of the year 2026 on Thursday, April 23 at 4:00 pm. The result will be declared from the Council Headquarters, Prayagraj, which students will be able to check at home on the official website and DigiLocker portal.
More than 50 lakh students took the exam
This year UP Board exams were held between 18 February and 12 March. The examination was conducted in 15 working days at 8033 examination centers in the state.
- High School: About 26.02 lakh candidates
- Intermediate: Around 24.91 lakh candidates
Overall, the participation of more than 50 lakh students once again highlighted the vast nature of the education system of Uttar Pradesh.

Evaluation of 2.75 crore copies in 15 days
After the examination is over, the biggest challenge is evaluation, but this time the council set a new standard by completing it in record time.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the education system of the state has seen a big change in the last few years. The entire system this time stood on these three pillars – cheating-free examination, strict monitoring, and time-bound process. The administration has set a new example by following the prescribed deadline at every stage from examination to result.

As soon as the roll number is entered, the mark sheet will be available on the screen within a few seconds, so that students will not need to go to any cyber cafe or school.
Scrutiny and compartment facilities
Council Secretary Bhagwati Singh, while wishing the students all the best, said that if anyone has doubts about their marks, the facility of scrutiny (revaluation) will be available. Apart from this, there will also be an option of compartment examination for those students who have less marks in some subjects. The board has made a special appeal to the parents that no matter what the result is, they should maintain the morale of their children. The result of the examination is not the last stage of life, but a step to move forward.
