UP Board Inter Topper List 2026: The wait of lakhs of students of Uttar Pradesh is finally over. Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council has released the results of High School (10th) and Intermediate (12th) Examination 2026 today on Thursday. The overall pass percentage in UP Board 12th was 80.38%, while the pass percentage in High School or UP Board Matriculation was 90.42%. Along with the results, the board has also declared the list of Inter toppers, for which students and parents were waiting for a long time. Shikha Verma of Sitapur topper in UP Intermediate exam, all girls in top 3

This time in the intermediate examination, Shikha Verma of Sitapur has performed brilliantly and secured first position in the state by securing 97.60% marks. Nandini Gupta of Bareilly and Shreya Verma of Barabanki jointly stood at the second position with 97.20% marks. Two girl students have also secured the third place, Surbhi Yadav from Bareilly and Pooja Pal from Barabanki, who have secured 97% marks.

When was UP Board Exam 2026 held?

If we talk about examinations, this year the UP Board 10th and 12th examinations ended on March 12. About 26 lakh students took the examination in high school and about 24.5 lakh in intermediate. Evaluation of copies started from March 18 and was completed by April 4. A total of more than 1.53 lakh employees, including about 83,800 examiners, were deployed for this huge work. This time the board also used technology to further improve the evaluation process. Under the pilot project in districts like Prayagraj, Meerut, Bareilly, Varanasi and Gorakhpur, along with traditional examination, the facility of uploading marks online was also implemented, which made the result process faster and transparent.

A special reward is also decided by the government for the toppers. Students who top at the state level will be given a cash amount of Rs 1 lakh, laptop and certificate of honor. The students who top at the district level will be honored with Rs 21,000 and a certificate. Overall, this year’s UP Board result has not only been released in record time, but technical improvements and transparency are also clearly visible in it.
