everything was normal till night
According to the information, the marriage procession of Ashok, son of Rajmani, resident of Hargarh area of Prayagraj district, had left on Tuesday evening. At around 12 o’clock in the night, the procession reached a village in Madihan police station area. The rituals of Dwarpuja and Jaimala were completed peacefully. Both the families were busy preparing for the next wedding rituals and the bride and groom had reached the wedding hall. But during this time such an incident came to light which changed the course of the entire ceremony.

Controversy increased after women’s conversation?
According to family members, when further wedding rituals were going on, a discussion started among the women of the house regarding clothes and jewellery. It is alleged that the groom got angry due to this. It is being told that at around 4 am on Wednesday, the groom along with his two friends quietly left the place on a bike. When he was not found for a long time, the family members came to know about the incident.
New bike was given as Tilak
The bride’s side alleges that on the wish of the groom, she had taken a loan and bought a Pulsar bike worth about Rs 1.5 lakh on May 20. Along with the bike, cash, fruits, flowers and other traditional gifts were also given at the Tilak ceremony. Family members say that he had spent more than his means on wedding preparations. In such a situation, the family suffers both financial and social loss due to the groom leaving before the wedding.
Uproar created after groom absconds
As soon as the news of the groom’s sudden disappearance was received, there was chaos in the wedding ceremony. The angry bride’s side stopped some wedding guests including the groom’s father in the village. Besides, the three vehicles that came in the wedding procession were also not allowed to pass. Family members allege that their daughter’s marriage remained incomplete and they were betrayed. At the same time, the bad condition of the girl and her mother is being told through tears.
Police arrived, but the matter reached the police station
On receiving information about the incident, PRB 112 reached the spot. However, family members say that the police advised them to submit a written complaint to the police station and returned. At present the girl’s side is preparing to file a complaint. Police say that after receiving the complaint, the matter will be investigated and further legal action will be taken.
