All preparations are complete for the Assistant Professor recruitment examination to be held on 18-19 April 2026 in Uttar Pradesh. Cheat-free examination will be conducted at 53 centers with CCTV surveillance, observer deployment and strict rules.

Lucknow. The Uttar Pradesh government remains firm on its resolve to conduct cheating-free and transparent examinations. In this direction, Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission, Prayagraj has completed all preparations for the Assistant Professor Recruitment Examination to be held in four shifts on 18th and 19th April 2026.

Preparations for 53 examination centers in 6 major cities completed

Commission Chairman Dr. Prashant Kumar (former IPS) reviewed in detail the preparations of 53 examination centers of 6 major districts including Agra, Meerut, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi and Gorakhpur. The review found that the arrangements at all the centers are fully prepared and the employees on duty have also been given training.

There will be strict monitoring through CCTV surveillance and control room.

To maintain transparency of the examination, CCTV cameras have been installed in all the examination rooms and important places. These cameras have been connected to the district control room and the command and control center of the commission. Their connectivity has also been successfully tested at the Commission level, so that every activity during the examination can be monitored.

Observers deployed in every district, administration and police alert

To monitor the examination, a member of the commission has been made an observer in every district.

Apart from this, teams of district administration and police will continuously inspect the examination centres. Prohibitory orders will remain in force around the examination centers and adequate police force will be deployed.

Strict rules to stop copying, electronic devices completely banned

On the instructions of Yogi government, special vigil will be kept on suspicious and anti-social elements. Strict legal action will be taken against those involved in cheating or affecting the fairness of the examination. The use of any type of electronic device including mobile phones will be completely prohibited at the examination centres.

The Commission has appealed to all the candidates to reach the examination center on time and follow the instructions given in the admit card. Also, to avoid any rumour, confirm the information only from the official website of the Commission www.upessc.up.gov.in and ‘X’ handle @upesscprayagraj. The Commission has reiterated that it is fully committed to conducting the examination in a completely fair, transparent and clean manner.
