Ujjain: Are you coming to Baba Mahakal’s court to celebrate New Year? Rules are going to change, darshan will be like this

If you are planning to start your new year with Baba Mahakal by reaching the religious city Ujjain, then this news is very important for you. Because, there is going to be a big change for 8 days in the darshan arrangements of Bhasma Aarti which takes place every day at 4 am in the court of Baba Mahakal. Under which now the booking of devotees’ Bhasma Aarti will have to be done offline rather than online. This information was given by Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple Administrator.

Regarding this change happening in Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple, the administrator of the temple Ganesh Dhakad said that once a year at the time of New Year, the number of devotees attending Bhasma Aarti suddenly increases, in view of which, Bhasma Aarti is done every year on New Year. Online booking is closed. This year also, online booking of Bhasma Aarti will not be possible from 26th December to 2nd January.

Offline darshan forms will be available here

Administrator of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple, Ganesh Dhakad said that the system of offline darshan will start in the temple from December 26. For this, devotees will be given offline darshan forms after 10 pm from the counter near Pinaki Gate located near Triveni Museum. Only after submitting these forms with the required information, the visitors will be able to get the benefit of darshan of Baba Mahakal in Bhasma Aarti.

This will also change soon

After successful testing of radio frequency band during Bhasma Aarti, soon the same arrangement is going to be implemented for the devotees going to Nandi Hall of Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple. Under which, now only those devotees who have this band tied on their hands will be able to reach the threshold of Nandi Hall and Garbhagrah. Mahakal Temple Administrator Ganesh Dhakad said that the devotees coming to the Mahakal Temple as per the protocol are being given darshan of Lord Mahakal from the threshold of Nandi Hall and the sanctum sanctorum. But there are still many flaws in this philosophy system, which need to be rectified. He told that soon RFID bands will be seen tied on the wrists of the devotees who visit from the threshold of Nandi Hall and the sanctum sanctorum.
