Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Sagarika Ghosh has expressed serious concern over the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) Bill. He alleged that instead of uniting the society, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is doing politics of pitting one community against another. Sagarika Ghosh said that on a sensitive issue like UCC, wide dialogue and consensus is necessary from all parties, but the government is using it for political gains.
