A strange situation developed in the women’s hospital of Basti in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. The family members of a woman who had come here for delivery created a ruckus, accusing her of child theft. The family members alleged that the ultrasound report had confirmed that the mother was pregnant with twins, but after delivery, the hospital staff made one child missing. The pregnant woman’s husband has also given a complaint in this regard to the CMS of the hospital.

Said that his child has been sold by the hospital staff. The family members kept creating ruckus in the hospital for a long time. After this, CMS pacified the family members. Assured him of a fair investigation. Said that if two children were delivered then they would also get a second child. The hospital management has also started investigating the matter based on the complaint of the family members.

On the other hand, the pregnant woman’s husband Ramesh Kumar told that he had done ultrasound of his wife before delivery. It was revealed that there were twins in the womb. He told that there were some problems due to having twins in the womb. In view of these problems, the doctors of the women’s hospital also conducted the delivery, but only one child was handed over to them.

Recruitment took place on 29th December

The second child was stolen from the operation theater by the hospital staff and disappeared. Ramesh Kumar, resident of Dubkhara village of Nagar police station area, said that his wife Rekha was admitted to the women’s hospital for delivery on December 29. His wife delivered late in the evening the same day. After this the doctors came and told that only one child was born. Whereas in the ultrasound report conducted earlier, his wife was confirmed to be having a twin child.
