International cricket action is in full-flow and almost every major cricket team is currently busy in some kind of series. In such a situation, some players are also facing injuries. Two players of Team India have been ruled out of the India-England T20 series due to injury. Now a similar situation has happened with the Bangladesh cricket team, whose star fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman has been ruled out midway through the series due to injury. Left-arm pacer Rahman has suffered two injuries in the same leg, due to which he has been ruled out of the Zimbabwe tour.

Mustafizur Rahman got injured in the ongoing all-format series between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. During the first match of the ODI series, Mustafizur Rahman developed problems in his right knee and hamstring. He complained of pain while bowling, after which he was taken off the field. After this he did not come on the field and then could not play even in the second ODI match.

Now the injury status of Mustafizur Rahman has been revealed. A scan of his right leg after the first ODI revealed a grade-1 hamstring injury in which the muscle has been torn. There is also an injury in the knee of the same leg. Due to this, Mustafizur will now have to stay away from the field for some time. According to the report, Mustafizur Rahman will not be able to play cricket for at least the next 4 weeks. This is the reason why he has been ruled out of the Zimbabwe tour, where the team has to play the last ODI match and then the T20 series.

With Mustafizur out, the Bangladesh team has taken a big decision and included experienced fast bowler Taskin Ahmed in the squad for the T20 series. Right-arm pacer Taskin is currently playing the ODI series, while he was given a break from the T20 series. But now they will have to play this series also. Let us tell you that the team’s star batsman Liton Das has already been ruled out of this tour due to injury.
