Mystery deepens in Twisha Sharma death case – CCTV footage of salon visit a few hours before death, suspicious call from mother-in-law Giribala Singh and haste in asking for records/footage raised questions. Suicide or conspiracy in Bhopal dowry harassment case, investigation intensified.
Bhopal. The case of suspicious death of 33-year-old model and actor Twisha Sharma in Katara Hills, Bhopal is becoming a very complicated and mysterious drama with each passing day. Now a new and shocking twist has come in this case, which has changed the direction of the investigation. A CCTV footage taken just a few hours before Twisha’s death has surfaced, in which she is seen in a local salon in Bhopal. After this footage surfaced, serious questions have been raised on the role of Twisha’s influential mother-in-law and former judge Giribala Singh. The latest claims of the salon owner have added a flavor of suspense and deep conspiracy to this whole theory.
Timeline of 6 hours before death: Peace in the salon, then dead body?
According to NDTV report, on May 12 at around 3:12 pm, Twisha Sharma had reached a salon in Katara Hills area. According to CCTV footage and eyewitnesses, Twisha was looking very normal there. She took a head massage and also got a pedicure at the salon. She came out of the salon at around 6:15 in the evening. The surprising thing is that the woman who was busy grooming herself till 6.15 pm was found hanging in her in-laws’ house after a few hours. After all, what happened within these few hours that Twisha lost her life? The maternal side alleges that this is not suicide, but a premeditated ‘dowry death’, which has been tried to be given the form of suicide.

“Daughter-in-law was dead and mother-in-law was asking for footage” – sensational claim of salon owner
The biggest blast in this high-profile case has come from the statement of salon owner Kiran Parihar. Kiran told that the very next day of Twisha’s death, she got a call from her mother-in-law Giribala Singh (who is a retired judge and chairperson of the consumer court). Instead of grieving for her daughter-in-law, Giribala Singh was busy collecting evidence in a very clever manner. According to Kiran Parihar, Giribala Singh continuously inquired over the phone as to when Twisha had come to the salon, when she had left and by which mode (online or cash) had she made the payment? Not only this, he also asked for CCTV footage of that evening and a confirmed record of payment from the salon owner.
Suspicion deepened: Representatives of the co-accused reached the salon with an army of lawyers.
Salon owner Kiran Parihar became deeply suspicious about the repeated calls and this strange inquiry. In the afternoon, when Giribala Singh called again and again pressed for the CCTV footage, Kiran asked him – “Is Twisha ji okay?” Then the former judge mother-in-law told in a very cold tone that her daughter-in-law had committed suicide.
3 big questions raised from the statement of the salon owner
- Why was the former judge mother-in-law collecting evidence (CCTV) immediately after the death?
- Why did the army of lawyers camp in the salon before the police?
- Was a ‘fake theory’ being created in advance to save itself?
The suspense does not end here; Soon after this a whole group of lawyers gathered in the salon. By applying pressure, he immediately called a technician to the spot and took some selected parts of the CCTV footage with him.
Postmortem report versus mother’s allegations: Is the reality being hidden?
However, in the initial postmortem report, the cause of Twisha’s death has been stated as hanging (suicide) and the in-laws are continuously trying to set the narrative that Twisha was a drug addict. But Twisha’s parents say that their daughter is being framed. Influential in-laws are using their position to tamper with the evidence. Bhopal Police has so far arrested Twisha’s husband Samarth Singh, while mother-in-law Giribala Singh, who is out on anticipatory bail, also has a case registered against her for dowry death (BNS Section 80(2)) and cruelty. Now on the orders of the High Court, the team of AIIMS Delhi is going to conduct the postmortem again, and it is being speculated that this footage of the salon will prove to be the biggest turning point in this case.
