  • During the hearing of the case in the Supreme Court, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, who first appeared on behalf of the Madhya Pradesh government, argued that Twisha’s in-laws have judicial relations. Mother-in-law Giribala Singh has been a judge in Bhopal. Due to which the matter is not being investigated impartially.
  • Mehta further said in the court – Giribala is not cooperating in the investigation by using her influence. She is diverting the case. Also said that the victim’s family has made many allegations against him, then how did he get bail immediately?
  • Government lawyer Mehta further said that the former judge is trying to tarnish the image of the victim’s family by going to all the news channels of Bhopal. She is making many false allegations against the deceased. There has been a demand to cancel the anticipatory bail granted to Giribala Singh from Bhopal District Court.
