A twine bomb exploded in the pocket of a child in New Basti Diwakari in Vaishali Nagar police station area of Alwar, due to which 60 percent of his legs and private parts got burnt. After the incident, the child was taken to the hospital, where his condition is improving. The incident happened around 12 o’clock on the night of Diwali.
According to the information, the moral age of the child is (15) years. He studies in 9th class. While bursting crackers on the night of Diwali, he had twine bombs in both his pockets. He had a burning lamp in one hand with which he was bursting crackers. Meanwhile, suddenly the burning lamp fell towards Naitik’s right leg, due to the spark of which the bomb kept inside his pocket exploded. Exploded in the pocket itself.

Naitik’s private parts and legs were badly burnt in the incident. The injured child was immediately taken to the hospital by his family members, where his treatment is ongoing. Regarding the incident, Naitik’s elder brother Harish says that the younger brother had kept a twine bomb in his pocket, then nearby children were firing the bombs when one of the sparks fell on his pocket, due to which the bomb kept in the pocket exploded. A similar case had come to light two days ago in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. In Surajgarh town, a 13-year-old boy died when the material for making firecrackers kept in his pocket exploded. The explosion was so strong that half of the child’s left leg was torn to pieces. According to the information, he prepared the spice for bursting crackers by mixing sulfur and potash from the market and put it in a glass bottle and kept it in his pocket. The child was badly injured when the bottle burst in his pocket, where he died during treatment.
