Trisha Sits With Vijay’s Parents, Sparks Fresh Buzz

Actor Trisha Krishnan drew attention at the 80th Independence Day celebrations in Chennai after she was seen seated alongside Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay’s parents.

The event also marked Vijay’s first Independence Day flag-hoisting ceremony as Chief Minister. He unfurled the national flag at Fort St George.

In his address, Vijay spoke about unity, equality and freedom.

“When people realise that they are being treated like slaves, a sense of unity emerges among them. Everyone begins to come together. Caste barriers will break down, and when caste and religious differences disappear and everyone comes together, that is true freedom,” he said.

Vijay also highlighted some of the decisions taken by his government in its first three months in office.

“It has been three months since our government came to power. In these three months, crop loans taken by farmers have been waived, and 717 TASMAC liquor shops have been closed,” he said.

However, it was Trisha’s presence alongside Vijay’s parents that attracted considerable attention and quickly became a talking point among fans and political circles.
