Aam Aadmi Party councilor has been facing serious allegations of molesting a minor girl in Ranjit Nagar police station area of Delhi. The councilor has also been accused of threatening. On the complaint of the victim, the police have registered a case under several sections including the POCSO Act. Police have registered the case and started investigation.
The incident is said to have happened on 25th February. The victim told the police about the incident. The accused councilor is a friend of the victim’s father. The incident happened during a birthday party. The victim told her family about the incident. There was a dispute between the two. The person at whose place the party was organized explained to both of them. The victim informed the police about the incident.
Molestation happened at Munshiram Bagh
The victim minor girl told the police that on February 25, her family members had gone to Munshiram Bagh to attend a birthday party. At 10 o’clock in the night, his father called him on his home number and asked him to come and pick him up from his uncle’s house. The victim told that she took out her scooter from her grandmother’s house in Ranjit Nagar and went to her father. When she reached there, her father was present there but her younger brother had not come from the party. He started waiting for him.
AAP councilor molested
When the brother did not come till late, his father reached the party to call him. It is alleged that meanwhile his father’s friend and Aam Aadmi Party councilor Ankush Narang came to him along with some people. Ankush was accompanied by a woman and 3 youths. It is alleged that two people tried to catch his hand. During this time, Ankush Narang molested her by doing obscene acts. The incident was reported to the police.
