After this, he will meet the families of the martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir Police in Raj Bhavan of Jammu and will also hand over the appointment letters to some soldiers selected on compassionate grounds.

In fact, Amit Shah arrived at the airport in Jammu at around 6.50 pm on Sunday evening, where Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Union Minister Jitendra Singh and Jammu and Kashmir Unit President Sat Sharma and the party’s Jammu and Kashmir in-charge National General Secretary Tarun Chugh and other BJP leaders welcomed him.

Former BJP chief of Jammu and Kashmir Ravindra Raina and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavindra Gupta and Nirmal Singh were also present. Officials said that immediately after the arrival, Amit Shah was taken to Raj Bhavan and later went to the BJP headquarters in Trikuta Nagar and presided over the meeting of party MLAs and other officials.
