Tiger Shroff Firing Incident: Four Accused Sent to Police Custody Till October 26

Four individuals, including two women, arrested in connection with the firing incident at actor Tiger Shroff’s residence, have been remanded to police custody until October 26 by a magistrate’s court.

The Delhi Police’s Special Cell, NDR unit, apprehended the accused on October 20.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Kunal (21) and Sumit (19) from Sonipat, Haryana, and Radha (23) from Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, along with Babita (23) from Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh.

Reports indicate that after the incident, the accused fled to Surat, Gujarat, from where they boarded a Jaipur-bound train. Their plan was to reach New Delhi and then escape to Nepal. However, Mumbai Police intercepted and arrested them in Kota, Rajasthan, before they could reach Delhi.

Police sources also revealed that the accused allegedly practiced shooting before the attack. A misfire reportedly occurred while they were testing the weapon in their hotel room in Mumbai’s Andheri area. During interrogation, the accused disclosed the location of this test firing. The practice was to ensure the firearm was functioning correctly before the intended attack on Tiger Shroff. It is believed both suspects successfully fired the weapon during this practice session. One bullet was reportedly fired onto the bed during the misfire, though this did not raise any suspicion among hotel staff.
