Mumbai, Maharashtra: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan once again addressed the paparazzi about maintaining boundaries at the IIFA 2027 press conference in Mumbai.
He urged them, saying, “Peeche ka yaad rakh lena, itni izzat to de hi sakte ho sab log,” emphasizing respect for celebrities while photographing them. This follows his earlier remarks on ‘Bigg Boss 20’, where he criticized photographers for taking inappropriate pictures of actresses.
Khan, looking sharp in a blue blazer and denim, shared the stage with other prominent personalities. Kareena Kapoor Khan, a picture of elegance in an all-black ensemble and stylish sunglasses, also graced the event. Actress Rashmika Mandanna, along with Abhishek Banerjee and Pankaj Tripathi, added to the star power.
The 27th edition of the IIFA Weekend & Awards is scheduled for January 22 and 23, 2027, at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The awards ceremony will be hosted by Varun Dhawan and Ananya Panday, joined by Karan Johar and Maniesh Paul. Expect dazzling performances from Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor.
Rashmika Mandanna is set to make her IIFA debut with a live performance. She expressed her excitement, stating, “Performing on the IIFA Awards stage for the first time feels incredibly special. IIFA has always been a beautiful celebration of Indian cinema.” This marks IIFA’s fourth return to Abu Dhabi, a collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, reinforcing the city’s growing role as a global entertainment hub.
