Tiger Shroff Firing Case: 12th Accused Arrested in Haryana Sent to Police Custody Till Nov 6

A Mumbai court on Saturday remanded Amar, the 12th accused arrested in connection with the firing incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, to police custody till November 6.

Amar was arrested from Rohna village in Haryana’s Sonipat district. Earlier on Thursday, a special court under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) had remanded 11 other accused in the case to police custody till November 6.

Police produced Amar before the court earlier on Saturday. According to officials, he is suspected of transferring money online that was allegedly used to facilitate the crime and meet related expenses, including the purchase of a motorcycle and hotel bookings.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Amar is a friend and neighbour of Kunal, who was arrested earlier in the case. Police have found that Kunal allegedly transferred Rs 40,000 to Amar’s bank account. Amar subsequently transferred Rs 12,000 to the bank account of Radha, another accused, allegedly on Kunal’s instructions.

The Mumbai Police are examining these transactions to establish their purpose and determine the financial links among the accused. The money trail forms part of the wider investigation into the firing incident.

Amar, who studied up to Class 10, works at a supplements shop. His parents reportedly earn their livelihood through daily-wage labour. Meanwhile, his family has claimed that he is innocent and alleged that he has been falsely implicated in the case.

With nine of the 12 arrested accused reportedly belonging to Sonipat, the Haryana district has emerged as a key focus of the Mumbai Police investigation.

Investigators are continuing to examine the financial transactions and personal connections among the accused to establish the sequence of events and determine the alleged role of each suspect.
