Three start-ups of Bihar have been awarded the Maharathi Award. In the prestigious Start-up Maha Kumbh program organized by the Central Government in Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, three start-ups, lady fair and Bhojpatta have been selected for this award. The selected start-up has been given a cash of Rs 1-1 lakh. All these start ups have been honored for doing remarkable work in different fields.
Lady fair contribution
This ladifier beauty concepts Private Limited of Bihar has been selected for establishing a special beauty based business. The popular name of this company is Ladfare. It has been awarded the National Award directly in the Consumer Category i.e. D2C (Direct to Consumer) category. This company was founded by Rishi Ranjan Kumar in 2019. He hails from a small village in Sitamarhi district.
He established this company thinking that women of rural areas could get all the facilities with salons at their home. Along with this, women can also be provided a means of earning livelihood through this. By joining this company, more than 150 women from rural areas have undergone beauticians, who are serving in more than 12 cities. Thanks to these women, more than one and a half crore rupees are incurred. Ladfare is working rapidly to establish social effects due to digital inclusion.
The annual turnover of Ladfare has increased to Rs 36 crore in the financial year 2024-25. Right now more than 150 women are getting regular employment through it. Started from a rented room, this start-up has managed to establish its identity at the national level today.
Bhojpatta’s contribution
Bhojpatta is an agro-based start-up. Its company name Bhojpatta Agriparinur Private Limited started with the initial help of just Rs 4 lakh, which today got recognition at the national level and was awarded the Maharathi Award at Mahakumbh of Start-up. It was established in 2021. This is such an innovative start up, which significantly reduces the damage caused by crops with its zero carbon emission solar dryer.
Prism technology presents many durable and multi -use solutions such as air filters with the help of natural fiber. With this, the best medium of using the agro -based residual re -using it properly presents Bhojapatta. The company uses 74 million tonnes of agricultural residues annually.
The annual turnover of Bhojpatta has increased to 89 lakhs in the financial year 2024-25. It is providing regular employment to the group of 14 people. The approach to this start-up is to connect natural and culture integrated. This start up earlier earlier earned the first prize in the Biological India 2022.
It was also selected as Agri Udaan 5.0 and SIL 3.0 of IIT Kanpur and Selco Foundation as a commendable experiment. It is especially known for promoting rural empowerment, green innovation and method of environmentally friendly living.
Evi delta contribution
It is a Bihar based technology-based start-up, which has been awarded the Maharathi Award at Start-up Mahakumbh. It has been given this honor for remarkable performance in defense and space category. Its first funding is currently under process.
This start-up is mainly known for its innovation in preparing the Next Generation Electric Motor Technology. Their functions in magnetic field optimization, advance thermal management and modular design are notable. Their prepared models are known for keeping the specialty of saving energy and are known for long -term running. Especially these motors are used for platforms with drones, robotics and electric mobility.
This Evi delta start-up, which has specially identified in start-up Bihar, has created 11 full time jobs. Along with this, a remarkable order has also been received to make 15 thousand motors, which costs about three and a half crores. Now this company is going to set up a production line especially, which will have a capacity of 5 thousand motors per month.
It is in an exercise to join the special campaign of the modern hardware manufacturer under self -sufficient India. Its vision will include it as a smart electric leader globally.
