The BJP government of Delhi has banned the issue of EWS (EWS) certificate providing relief to the economically weaker section. This certificate provides 10 percent reservation for education and job opportunities to the members of the economically weaker section. The Aam Aadmi Party has targeted fiercely on this decision of the government. The party says that the BJP has given the government of Delhi in the hands of such people, who have no idea to run the government and administration.
Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Pradesh President Saurabh Bhardwaj surrounded the government during a press conference on Tuesday (April 15). He questioned the government’s decision to close the EWS certificate that relieved the economically weaker section. He said that while attacking the government, he said that the panchayat of Phulara is not doing such work which the government of Delhi is doing today.

He said that after the formation of BJP government, such decisions are being taken which makes it believe how the government runs. The leader said that yesterday an example has come that CM has ordered that EWS certificate will not be made inside Delhi. They said that
All the universities including DU have started admission inside the college. Children are filling the form. He said that 10% quota has been fixed for EWS, how will it get 10% quota when the EWS certificate will be stopped.

‘How will people prove that they are poor…’
The AAP leader further said that 10 % beds in hospitals are for EWS patients and 25 % is reserved for OPD. He said that if someone falls ill, if someone’s mother, brother, father, wife, husband bombs, then in 10 people in 10 people want to take admission inside EWs, then they go to SDM’s office the same day and get a certificate of EWS, but now how will they prove that they are poor, how will they prove what is their annual income. The same method of this is the EWS certificate made in the SDM office. The leader said that now thousands of those children’s dreams are in crisis. Those who have applied for the EWS certificate.
‘Why didn’t they take action on those who are mistakes…’
Saurabh Bhardwaj, while showing the minutes of CM Rekha Gupta’s meeting, said that in this the CM has said, ‘EWS certificates have been found to be flawed. So it should be stopped making it by further order. If you object to any process of EWS certificate, then fix that process, but how can you stop making the entire certificate ‘. He said that if the EWS certificate has been wrongly issued, then why did the government not take action on the SDM, who have made a mistake. Did not take any action on them. But you are punishing those who have no fault.
‘BJP’s purpose to benefit private schools, hospitals’
He said that if the EWS certificate was made incorrect, then how many officials have the BJP punished? He raised the question that the government stated the reason behind stopping the EWS certificate, that many certificates have been made incorrect, so now the government should tell how many SDMs and DMs who have made wrong EWs certificates have been taken. Bhardwaj also said that if it was the fault of the officials, then why is the general public being punished? He said that by closing the EWS certificate, the objective of the BJP is to benefit private schools and hospitals.
