The 28th match of the 18th season of the Indian Premier League was played between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RR VS RCB). Both teams face to face at Sawai Man Singh Cricket Stadium in Jaipur. After winning the toss, Rajat Patidar invited RR to bat first, after which the team set a target of 174 runs in 20 overs. In response, RCB (RR Vs RCB) scored 175 runs losing one wicket, which won the match by nine wickets.
Yashasvi Jaiswal played a stormy innings
The Rajasthan Royals (RR vs RCB) came to bat first after losing the toss. On the score of 45 runs, the team lost the wicket of captain Sanju Samson (Sanju Samson). He scored 15 runs in 19 balls and Krunal Pandya was out. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal held the innings and played a bang half -century. His bat scored 75 runs in 47 balls, including ten fours and two sixes. Ryan Parag contributed 30 runs, while Dhruv Jurael remained unbeaten on 35 runs. Due to this batting, Rajasthan Royals scored 174 runs on the scoreboard for the loss of four wickets. Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yash Dayal, Josh Hazlewood and Krunal Pandya achieved one success each in bowling for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Royal Challengers Bangalore’s good start
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RR vs RCB) made a spectacular debut to bat in retaliation. The pair of Phil Salet and Virat Kohli made a half -century partnership for the first wicket by batting. Both of them scored a joint 92 runs in 52 balls. In 8.4 overs, Kumar Karthikeya dismissed Phil Salat and gave Rajasthan Royals the first success. He managed to score 65 runs in 33 balls with the help of five fours and six sixes.
Rajasthan shook defeat
After Phil Salat was dismissed, Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal took the front. Both these players shared a half -century partnership of 83 runs and brought the team’s scoreboard to 175. With this, Royal Challengers Bangalore captured the match by 9 wickets. During this, 62 runs came out of Virat Kohli’s bat, while Devdutt Padikkal managed to score 40 runs. Kumar Karthikeya had a success from Rajasthan Royals.
Sanju Samson’s mistake: Rajasthan Royals suffered defeat due to a mistake by captain Sanju Samson in RR Vs RCB match. In fact, he sent in-form batsman Nitish Rana to bat at number six, due to which he could not get much chance to bat and he could score only four runs on one ball. If Nitish Kumar had come to bat in the upper order, he might have added some runs to the scoreboard.
