In Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, a 20 year old youth has done such a thing that everyone is surprised to know and hear about it. This young man, who works as a painter by profession, befriended three girls on Instagram. In this, one girl is from Canada, the other is from Kerala and the third is from Barabanki. The young man wanted to give expensive gifts to all three, but did not have the luxury to do so. In such a situation, he made a plan to rob the bank. The accused cut the CCTV wires of the bank and also entered the bank, but could not break the locker of the bank. He was caught during this time. The accused himself has revealed this during police interrogation.
The accused told the police that he had planned to rob the bank during the Diwali holidays. For this, he first cut the wires of the CCTV camera of Punjab National Bank and then broke the lock and entered the bank. Then he thought of breaking the bank locker and looting cash and jewellery. He tried hard, but when the locker did not break, he returned exhausted. When the bank employees came to know about this the next day, the matter was informed to the police. After this, with the help of electronic surveillance, the police identified the accused and arrested him.
Painter made three girlfriends on Instagram
According to the police, the accused has been identified as painter Shahid Khan. He was very active on Instagram. During this time, he made 3 Instagram girls his girlfriends. One of these girls lives in Canada. While the second girl is from Kerala and the third from Barabanki. The accused had described himself as a rich man in front of these girls. He also promised to give gifts to these girls on Diwali, but he did not have money, so he planned to rob the bank. The accused told during police interrogation that the bank locker would easily break, but it was his mistake.
Police caught the accused in just three hours
According to the police, this incident took place on the night of 4th November. However, the police got information about the matter on the morning of November 5. After receiving the information, the police traced the accused within just three hours and arrested him within the next half an hour. However, for this the police had to scrutinize the footage of more than 70 CCTV cameras. Apart from this, forensic and dog squad teams were also engaged in the investigation. Police have also recovered a grinder machine used in the crime from the accused. During police interrogation, the accused told that even before this he had tried to rob the ATM once.
