A luxurious palace of 48 rooms and a life like a princely state
Sourav Ganguly was born in a rich family of Kolkata. His father Chandidas Ganguly was a big businessman of Kolkata. Ganguly’s childhood was no less than that of a king or emperor. His ancestral house located in Behala, Kolkata is like a royal palace, which has a total of 48 rooms. This four-storey luxurious bungalow has everything from a big dining hall to a collection of vintage cars. Scored 64 centuries in professional cricket

Sourav Ganguly scored a total of 64 centuries in his professional cricket, out of which 33 centuries came in First Class cricket and 31 centuries came in List A cricket. Sourav Ganguly played a total of 113 test matches for India and scored 7212 runs at an average of 42.17, which also included 35 half-centuries. At the same time, in ODI, 11363 runs were seen from his bat in 311 matches. Along with this, he also took 32 wickets in Test and 100 wickets in ODI. Apart from these, he was also a part of IPL from 2008 to 2012 and then was also seen in the role of coach.
