The United States President Donald Trump announced a counter -tariff on several countries of the world on 2 April. Since then, there has been an outcry in the whole world. Be it the Asian Market, Chinese Market or Australia market. The decline is being seen in all. The Indian market also went down by 3,000 points as soon as it opened today. Meanwhile, a news is coming out from South-East Asian country Vietnam. The US had announced a 46 percent tariff on Vietnam, after which Vietnam has now offered a letter to America and offered to not put tariffs on the goods coming from there.
According to the ET report, the Communist Party head of the South-East Asian country Vietnam wrote a letter to the US on 5 April 2025, in which the US asked the US to give concession in tariffs against him. There was a demand from Tow Lam that America should give them a discount in tariffs for 45 days since April 9. In return, he offered to sell American products in his country without tariff.
