share market
There is one share in the stock market which has made its investors rich. Even amidst all the global tension and terrible diseases like Covid, there was no downfall in this stock, only those who placed bets became rich. The name of the share we are talking about is AGI Infra. This infra stock achieved the title of multibagger by giving more than 5000% returns in 5 years.
While the real estate sector in the Indian stock market has not been able to perform well in the last one year, small cap company AGI Infra of Punjab has created a distinct identity by giving tremendous returns to the investors. The one who showed confidence in this share has become rich today. The company has given bumper returns of about 5052% in the last 5 years, which makes it a great multibagger stock. Talking about the last one year, AGI Infra shares have seen a rise of about 126%. This surge has come at a time when the environment of the sector is not very encouraging. This performance has attracted the attention of the market and has sparked a new discussion among investors.
Why did the stock run so high?
Its strategy is considered to be a major reason behind the company’s success. AGI Infra is mainly active in cities like Jalandhar, Ludhiana and New Chandigarh of Punjab. The company focused on timely project completion and delivery rather than aggressive expansion. So far the company has completed 10 projects, while work on 10 other projects is ongoing. Financial performance has also been strong. While the company’s income was Rs 241 crore in FY23, it increased to Rs 325 crore by FY25. In the last three years, sales have registered a growth of 18% and profits of 22.3%, which shows its steady progress.
The most interesting aspect is the increasing interest of foreign investors. FIIs have rapidly increased their stake in the company. It increased from 0.58% in March 2025 to 4.8% in March 2026. Apart from this, the company also raised QIP of Rs 75 crore at Rs 265 per share, which gave impetus to the expansion plans. In the coming time, housing demand in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities can become a big opportunity for AGI Infra. However, after the rise, the valuation of the stock is no longer as attractive as before, hence investors will need to be cautious in taking decisions.
