This change in the segment is being considered as EV expansion of MG Motor. The company launched Windsor EV in September 2024. This small car liked the people so much that he also left behind Tata’s best -selling Nexon Ev. Between September and January, MG sold 13,997 Windsor EV, ahead of Tata’s Nexon EV (7,047 units) and Panch EV (5,708 units). In the financial year 2024-25, MG sold a total of 30,116 EVs in total, which reduces the difference with Tata, which sold 57,273 units.

The interior of the model has a 15.6-inch freestanding touchscreen infotainment system, horizontal mounted AC vent, dual-tone upholstery, a fully digital instrument cluster, rear AC vent and three-spoke multifunction steering wheel.
