A strange case of theft in ATM has come to light in Jharkhand. The thieves tried to cut the ATM machine with a gas cutter but due to cutting the ATM machine, the ATM caught fire and more than 12 lakh rupees were burnt to ashes. The ATM caught fire and the thieves ran away due to the sound of the siren installed there. However, the entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed there. As soon as the information about the case was received, the police reached the spot and started arresting the thieves on the basis of CCTV camera footage.

A strange incident of theft in ATM took place in the ATM counter of SBI Bank located on the roadside near Bichna village under Murhu police station area of ​​Khunti district. According to the information, masked thieves had reached the ATM located in Bechna village between 3 to 4 pm on the late night of 15th November to steal. To withdraw money from the ATM machine, the thieves were cutting it with the help of a gas cutter. Meanwhile, the ATM machine caught fire. The fire spread to the cash box due to which more than Rs 12 lakh cash present inside the ATM machine was burnt to ashes. However, during this time the siren present there started ringing and the thieves had to run away empty handed.

After checking the CCTV cameras installed around the incident spot and informing the bank manager about the incident, the police have started investigating the matter. There was Rs 12 lakh cash present in the ATM machine at the time of the incident. Which got burnt to ashes due to the spark coming out during cutting from the gas cutter. At present, the police of Murhu police station of Khunti district is busy in identifying the accused regarding the entire matter.
