Team India is set to take on in the five-match ODI series. The first match is scheduled to be played on November 4 at the Eden Park in Auckland.
The series will also help cricket fans witness Team India’s superstars Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma take the field.
Speaking about the star Indian duo, New Zealand’s skipper Mitchell Santner heaped praise by saying that both players are playing very well.
“They’re getting on, but they’re still playing very well. We saw it in the last series against the West Indies. I’ve seen it for a long time. I’ve seen Rohit in the as well,” he said in the pre-match press conference.
The hosts’ skipper also feels that the presence of Rohit and Virat helps in bringing a huge number of spectators to the stadium.
“I think it draws the crowds. We’ve had some really good crowds throughout the T20 series, and I expect they’ll be the same with Rohit and Virat being here,” said Santner.
