Team India is set to take on in the five-match ODI series. The first match is scheduled to be played on November 4 at the Eden Park in Auckland.
Shubman Gill sees series as
Ahead of the series, the visitors’ skipper Shubman Gill has expressed confidence in the side by saying that any Indian team is capable of defeating any opposition.
“I believe any Indian team that takes the field is capable of defeating any opposition,” he said.
Further, he said that the young players will gain confidence in the series and it will also help in preparing the squad for the .
“The young players will gain a lot of confidence if they perform well here. It will also give us confidence that even if we don’t have the squad we ideally want for the World Cup for any reason, we have a team capable of beating other sides in different conditions,” said Gill.
The “Men in Blue” will be high on confidence as they will be entering the ODI series with a 3-2 series win in the T20Is. It will be interesting to see if the “Black Caps” manage to bounce back and deliver strong performances in the ODIs.
