There will be no waterlogging on Delhi’s roads during monsoon, government ordered ‘recycle machines’

The BJP government of Delhi is busy in every effort to deal with the old problem of waterlogging before the monsoon and clean the sewer. The government has taken a historical step towards connecting sewer cleaning with modern technology. The Delhi government has ordered state -of -the -art ‘recycler machine’ from Mumbai. It was successfully tried in Greater Kailash region today. Delhi’s Water Resources Minister Pravesh Sahib Singh inspected this machine.

Pravesh Sahib Singh said, ‘We see in every monsoon how the roads of Delhi are submerged in water, and sometimes this water also enters the houses. The big reason for this is that the de silt of sewer and drains has not happened for the last 10-20 years. We have started ordering big machines to solve this. It is our endeavor that there is a machine in every assembly to complete the sewer.

’32 Super Sakkar Machines Orders to Purchase’

Delhi’s PWD Minister Pravesh Verma said that after cleaning, we will check with CCTV cameras and ensure 100 percent cleaning. Our aim is that during the monsoon, Delhi should be completely liberated from waterlogging. He said that 100 such machines are working in Mumbai and 30 machines are also used in Gujarat. Today we have done demonsity, but only last week we have ordered the purchase of 32 super sakar machines (vacuum trucks).

Recipeer Machine Characteristics

It draws silt and dirty water from the sewer together.
The water drawn is purified in the machine itself and used for jetting.
This reduces water consumption and does not require excess water tanker.
The machine fits into a single unit, which leads to less space in operation.
This makes the entire process fast, accurate and environment-friendly.

The Delhi government is now planning to implement this machine in various assembly constituencies of the capital in a phased manner. So that extensive cleaning can be done before the monsoon. During the monsoon season, most drains are jammed in Delhi, due to lack of proper flow of water, people living in the colony had to bear the brunt of it. At the same time, this step of the government will help in cleaning the silt and dirty water from the sewer.
