Answering this question, Amrita said, ‘I am not 16 years old to say, I don’t know, maybe yes or maybe no. To be honest, I don’t think I will marry again. But anything can happen in life.
When Pooja Bedi asked her why she was staying away from marriage, Amrita smiled and said, ‘I have everything a man can give me. Except a few things for which marriage is not required. This answer of his was much talked about at that time.
Amrita had gone through difficult times after divorce.
Amrita Singh also remembered the days after her divorce in the interview. She said that after the separation, she stayed at home for a long time thinking about her circumstances and felt sad. She said, ‘I used to stay at home and keep thinking about my situation. I was sad and disappointed. But I did not want my children to learn to give up from the difficulties of life.
Amrita believed that it was important to be a strong example for children. So he controlled himself and focused all his energy on raising children and career.

Saif and Amrita’s story
Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan met during the film ‘Bekhudi’. The two married in 1991 and had two children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim. Both of them got divorced in the year 2004.
