Who is Reuven Casper?
Reuven Kasper has been working as Chief Marketing and Sales Officer at VfB Stuttgart since January 2022. Born in Mühlacker in 1982, the sports economist previously worked for several years as ‘President Asia’ for FC Bayern Munich based in Shanghai, China. He was responsible for the activity management of all German record champions in the Asia-Pacific region. His key tasks included the long-term establishment of FC Bayern Munich among the top football brands in Asia, as well as developing and expanding the commercial and football-specific structure in the region.
Prior to this, Casper spent more than ten years in various management positions for global sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE. Additionally, he oversaw marketing, sales and sponsorship at both FC Augsburg and Hamburger SV. Because of which his national, international network and expertise in sports business is very high.
Trade is worth 26 billion dollars
If we look at the bilateral trade between India and Germany, there was a trade of 26.11 billion dollars between the two in the financial year 2023-24. According to government data, India’s exports were worth $9.84 billion in the financial year 2023-24. Talking about imports, it was seen worth 16.27 billion dollars. Whereas in the financial year 2022-23, bilateral trade between the two countries was seen at $26.74 billion. According to a survey, about 60 percent of German businesses are planning to increase investment in India in the financial year 2024-25, while 78 percent intend to boost investment in the next five years. Apart from this, it has been reported that Germany is planning to increase visas for skilled workers from India in the coming year.
