Panic is spreading in Bihari Colony of Farsh Bazar police station area of Shahdara, Delhi. On the night of Diwali, two armed men killed the uncle and nephew by firing five rounds. A minor boy has been injured in the firing incident, his treatment is going on in the hospital. The attack took place when the deceased was celebrating Diwali at home with his family. Meanwhile, the attackers entered the house and opened fire. The police is busy arresting the accused. Forensic and crime team have collected evidence from the incident site.
Police have arrested a minor accused. He is being interrogated. In the initial investigation by the police, it seems to be a case of personal enmity. The relatives of the deceased have also pointed this out. He says that these murders have been committed due to land dispute. Police is investigating from every angle. Everyone’s statements are being recorded. The attackers had come fully prepared to carry out the incident. According to the police, they entered the house and first touched the feet of the deceased and then opened fire indiscriminately. There was screaming in the house after the incident.
The attackers had brought a box of sweets
After the incident, the statement of the mother of deceased Akash has come out. He told that everyone was celebrating Diwali inside the house. Then a person named Lakshya came and knocked the door. When he looked down from the roof, Lakshya and another person were standing with their faces covered. When he asked him the reason for coming, Lakshya showed him a box of sweets and asked him to take it. The mother told that she hung the bucket down and took the box. But he started ringing the door again. She told that when she came down, her son was running inside. He also came back and opened fire.
‘Bunty and Puneet paid money to get him killed’
The mother of the deceased told that the accused who attacked first touched Akash’s feet and then shot him. Bunty and Puneet have paid money to get their son and Dhewate killed. She alleges that earlier these same people had got her husband killed. These people ask for a share in their house. He has bought this house by paying his own money. She says that it was these people who first fired the shot from the target and blamed it on my son.

Bullets fired indiscriminately on Diwali night
The incident took place on Thursday night at around 8 pm. Akash Sharma alias Chhotu and his nephew Rishabh Sharma, residents of Bihari Colony, died in the incident. While Akash’s 10-year-old son Krish Sharma was seriously injured by the bullet. Mother of deceased Akash told that everyone was celebrating Diwali happily at home. Then at around eight in the night two people came on a scooter. He came inside the house and touched Akash’s feet, then the other person asked him to shoot. After this they started firing bullets. Akash, Rishabh and Krish were left bleeding after being shot.
Uncle and nephew died, son injured
All three were immediately taken to the hospital. Where doctors declared Akash and Rishabh dead. Meanwhile, Krish is undergoing treatment. The mother of the deceased says that she knows the accused who attacked her. There is a land dispute going on with them for many years. He says that the attacking youth has been seen roaming in his street for several days. The police have also expressed suspicion of personal rivalry regarding the incident. Police said that prima facie it appears to be a case of personal enmity. He said that the statements of the family members of the victims will be recorded and investigation in this regard is going on.
Police searching for attackers
Regarding the incident, a Delhi Police official said that after receiving a PCR call at around 8.30 pm, a police team was sent to the spot. The team found blood stains at the scene. Eyewitnesses told the police that the accused had touched the feet of Akash Sharma before shooting at him. He told that Akash Sharma’s son Krish and nephew Rishabh, who were standing nearby, were also hit by bullets. Police officer said that Akash Sharma and Rishabh Sharma were declared dead by the doctors in the hospital while Krish Sharma is undergoing treatment. The case has been registered. The attackers are being searched.
