Once again a shameful incident has come to light in Nagaur district of Rajasthan. In Basni Behlima village of Sadar police station area, a young man was stripped and beaten on suspicion of theft. The villagers first beat the young man severely with kicks and shoes, then stripped him naked and paraded him around beating him in the main market of Basni village. The video of a young man being stripped naked and beaten is going viral on social media.
According to the information, Shakeel son of Allah Baksh Bangi, resident of Basni village, had stolen the mobile phone. Villagers said that he had committed similar incidents many times in the past, but despite complaining to the police, no action was taken. The police would take him into custody and then release him.
Police did not receive the complaint
Last Sunday, Shakeel was caught red handed while stealing a mobile phone. When the villagers came to know about this, they beat Shakeel severely with kicks and shoes. After beating him, he was paraded naked in the main market of the village. During this time, someone made a video of Shakeel getting naked and smoking in the market and made it viral on social media. Police came into action after the video went viral. Police say that no complaint has been received yet regarding this matter. The viral video is being investigated.
