Police have arrested a youth in Ajmer, Rajasthan. The young man considers gangster Lawrence Bishnoi as his idol. Police said that the accused youth is a resident of LIC Colony of Christianganj police station area. He has uploaded videos and photos of Lawrence Bishnoi on his social media account. His name is Kan Singh alias Dilkhush.
Christianganj police station inspector Arvind Singh Charan said that the police had received information that Kan Singh follows the social media page related to notorious gangster Lawrence. After this the police team raided and arrested Kan Singh. Police closely examined his mobile and searched his social media accounts and found suspicious activities. There were videos of Lawrence in the young man’s mobile. He had posted Lawrence’s videos and photos on his Instagram.
The young man told the story to the police
The young man told during police interrogation that Lawrence’s personality impressed him a lot. He used to post Lawrence’s photos on social media accounts so that his followers could increase and his status among his friends could increase.
This is not the first such case in Ajmer. Earlier, Christianganj police station had arrested a young man who used to follow Lawrence. The name of that young man was Deepesh alias Dipsa. He also considered Lawrence Bishnoi as his idol. He had also followed pages created in the name of Lawrence on social media platforms.
Formation of team for monitoring
Meanwhile, Ajmer SP Vandita Rana has issued a press note, in which she has said that for some time now it has been seen that some youth in the city are following gangsters and criminals. This is quite worrying. It is also being seen that youth are following and liking Facebook and Insta pages made in the name of criminals. In such a situation, a team has been formed to monitor it.
