In Kerala, an alcoholic shopkeeper set a woman on fire, causing her death. In fact, the woman had complained to the landlord about a person living in the neighborhood, who used to quarrel with him every day after drinking alcohol. After this, the person started burning with the woman. Not only this, in the spirit of revenge, he put a paint therm on the woman and set her on fire.
This incident is of Mannadukkam in Kasargod district of Kerala. This horrific incident took place on 8 April. According to the information given by the police, a woman named local resident Ramita used to run a grocery store. A person named Ramamritam in Tamil Nadu runs a furniture shop next to Ramitha’s shop. A few days ago, the victim Ramitha complained to the landlord of the house where the accused Ramamritam was living.

The woman alleged that she harassed her while drunk. On the basis of his complaint, the landlord warned Ramamritam to vacate the house. This created malice towards Ramamritam in the mind of Ramamritam. He wanted to take revenge on him somehow. Police officials said that Ramamritam put a color thinner on Ramitha, sitting at his grocery store on 8 April and set him on fire.
Police registered a case in various sections
The seriously injured Ramitha was taken to a hospital in Mangalore. Ramitha died due to burning 50 percent on Tuesday. When the accused Ramamritam tried to escape, the local people caught him and handed him over to the police. The police have registered a case under various sections.
